The Langford Legion reached out for a little help.

The B.C. Yukon Command of The Royal Canadian Legion granted the legionB次元官网网址檚 request for help, taking over the financial side of the organization.

B次元官网网址淭hey have been really struggling, and the last few executives have been struggling overall with business management,B次元官网网址� said Inga Kruse, executive director of B.C. Yukon Command. B次元官网网址淭hey asked us for this help.B次元官网网址�

The decision was made and announced on Jan. 6 at a meeting at the Langford Legion with nearly 200 people in attendance.

B次元官网网址淎ll of our locations are run by volunteers  and our volunteers need the support of our elected officials,B次元官网网址� Kruse said. B次元官网网址淥ur job is to preserve the branch for its members.B次元官网网址�

The Jan. 6 meeting sparked more volunteers and members of Langford Legion to step up and offer help.

The trusteeship is temporary, said Kruse adding the Command wants to train local volunteers who can then oversee the tasks.

The Langford Legion is always looking for new volunteers and people with professional skills looking to help.
