With the general election now less than two weeks away, itB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s time for advance polls to open.
Those unable to cast their ballots on May 2, can do so in advance from noon until 8 p.m. this Friday, Saturday and Monday (April 22, 23 and 25). Voters must show one original piece of identification with a photo, name and address, issued by a government agency (i.e. a driverB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s licence), or two pieces B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ one displaying a name and another with a name and address (a Care Card and a hydro bill, for example).
Voters who register before April 26 may also vote via special ballot (through the mail or in person at a local Elections Canada office).
