The race for the open seat at View RoyalB次元官网网址檚 council table is heating up with six candidates in the running.
Twenty-one-year-old Nathan Daisley has grown up in the community and feels he can bring different ideas and perspective to council.
B次元官网网址淎 big part of it is IB次元官网网址檝e grown up here. IB次元官网网址檝e gone to View Royal Elementary School and I went to Shoreline,B次元官网网址� Daisley said. B次元官网网址淭he town has presented me so many opportunities that it has been a perfect place to grow up in.B次元官网网址�
He added that with the opportunities heB次元官网网址檚 had volunteering in public service and building the community, now is the perfect time for him to run for council.

Daisley plans to go door-to-door to talk with residents about what is important to them.
B次元官网网址淏ecause View Royal is less than 11,000 people, I can knock on every door within October pretty easily,B次元官网网址� Daisley said. B次元官网网址淎 lot of it is going to be going to every single house and really talking with the people in View Royal and really understanding what direction the town wants us to go.B次元官网网址�
He added that while there may be goals or objectives he would like to achieve, the main priority will be what the people of View Royal would like to see.
B次元官网网址淎 lot of it is going to be coming from those connections at the door step,B次元官网网址� Daisley said. B次元官网网址淚 think itB次元官网网址檚 so important for our politicians to have a complete perspective of it and canvassing in a small town is perfect for that.B次元官网网址�
Daisley also said he would like to see new ways to develop View Royal including energy production, a rooftop gardening association, or food production.
