B次元官网网址淲e are very saddened and disappointed by whatB次元官网网址檚 happened,B次元官网网址 Patricia Mamic, the public and government affairs director for the Victoria Salvation Army, said. B次元官网网址淭his is an example of what can happen when people are desperate and have a lack of options. The Salvation Army had received a total of 40 bags of donated toys for their annual drive at the Stan Hagen Centre for Families. The 10 stolen bags made up a quarter of the gifts in their toy shop.
B次元官网网址淲e still do have toys that weB次元官网网址檙e handing out. We will make sure everyone who comes through our doors does not leave empty-handed, but weB次元官网网址檙e not sure weB次元官网网址檒l be able to reach our goal for the amount of toys we were hoping to give,B次元官网网址 Mamic said.
Anyone interested in donating toys can drop them off at the Quadra and Hillside location in Victoria. Mamic said cash donations and gift cards are also welcome, especially since gift certificates are popular presents for youth and teens who are harder to shop for.
VicPD asks anyone with information about the theft to call 250-995-7654 or Crime Stoppers.
