TORONTO 芒鈧珺次元官网网址 Eli Tomac raced to his fourth Monster Energy AMA Supercross 450SX Class victory of the season Saturday night, beating second-place Ryan Dungey by 14.2 seconds at Rogers Centre.
Tomac has won four of the six events, also topping the podium in Glendale, Arizona; Oakland, California; and Minneapolis. The Kawasaki rider from Cortez, Colorado, has eight career 450SX victories.
"The track was gnarly," Tomac said. "It really broke down, so it was important to be consistent and ride smart. The long start let the Kawasaki open up and put us in a good position out of the gate, which was key. "We had a good time here (in Toronto) and we'll see what we can do (moving forward). We have eight rounds left with a lot of good tracks ahead. I'll just keep hammering."
Dungey leads the standings, 24 points ahead of Tomac.
In the Eastern Regional 250SX Class, Husqvarna's Zach Osborne raced to his second straight victory to take the points lead.
"The track was tough tonight, but I had a good feeling from the start of the day," Osborne said. "I'm enjoying riding right now and I have the confidence to come out here and do well."
