Throughout British Columbia, more than 1,200 Community Living organizations deliver essential supports and services, helping individuals to thrive with dignity, respect and inclusion.
These organizations provide person-centered services ranging from residential care to employment support, day programs and skills development. The focus on individualized care helps people discover and live their best lives every day. However, significant workforce challenges continue to strain the delivery of these critical services.
To address this, has launched a province-wide recruitment campaign aimed at raising awareness of the unique opportunities within the Community Living sector. By featuring stories of people who have found rewarding careers within this field, the campaign showcases how returning workers, newcomers to Canada and recent graduates have built fulfilling careers in this vital area.
