West Shore RCMP searching for owner of recovered e-bike

The West Shore RCMP is hoping to reunite the rightful owner with an e-bike found in Langford.

On June 27, the West Shore officers seized a Pro Max electric bike worth more than $3,000 that was abandoned near the 900-block of Bear Mountain Parkway.

Police believe the bike was recently stolen but that crime was not reported to police.

When bikes are recovered by police, the serial number is run through the detachmentB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s database. The West Shore RCMP offers a free bicycle registry program that allows members of the public to register their bike details B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ including serial numbers B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ with the department.

Police are looking for the owner of this e-bike to contact the department at 250-474-2264. Proof of ownership will need to be provided before police return the bike.
