When the Grizzlies take to the ice for the new season, it won't just be their pride at stake; they'll be playing to help support West Shore families struggling to put food on their plates.
For every goal the Grizzlies score during the 2024/25 campaign, both at home and on the road, Waterworks Irrigation will donate $20 to the Goldstream Food Bank.
"Supporting the food bank with the Grizzlies this year is about more than just providing meal, it's about fostering a stronger, more connected community," said Lee Kilsby from Waterworks Irrigation in a news release. "Our hope is to show that, when we unite our efforts, we can create a future where everyone can thrive. Together, we can make a difference by combining our resources and passion, creating a ripple effect of kindness and generosity that extends far beyond the rink."
