An early morning trash fire saw a speedy resolution after a Victoria garbage truck driver noticed their smouldering payload and headed for the Victoria fire hall.

The garbage truck fire was dealt with B次元官网网址渟afely and efficientlyB次元官网网址� early Thursday (Jan. 23) morning after a truck driver on his rounds noticed the fire around 6 a.m., according to a social media post by Victoria Fire.

B次元官网网址淭he driver noticed smoke coming from the truck and immediately called 911. Thinking on his feet, the driver drove straight to the firehall at 1025 Johnson St. and parked out front. The fire chief, who was in his office, called down to the driver and told him that crews were on their way down. Firefighters directed the driver to reposition the truck away from the building for safety,B次元官网网址� the department post reads.
