Two major downtown Victoria roads re-opened Wednesday (Aug. 2) afternoon after a pedestrian was struck by a driver.
The Victoria Police Department warned drivers to avoid Douglas Street as officers investigated a serious incident that happened around 1 p.m.
One pedestrian was struck by the driver of a Porsche Cayenne at the intersection of Douglas and Yates Street. The pedestrian was transported to hospital.
Blood could be seen splattered on the road in front of the vehicle, but itB次元官网网址檚 unclear if the person was struck in the crosswalk and launched forward or if the pedestrian was hit outside of the crosswalk.
