The Royal B.C. MuseumB次元官网网址檚 archives collection facility has a new name.
In partnership with the province, the Royal B.C. Museum announced the archives, research and collections facility will be called PARC Campus, an acronym for Provincial Archives, Research and Collection. The facility has been under construction since 2023.
According to a news release from the museum, the name was developed through consultation with museum employees and the Province to reflect the B次元官网网址渃ritical and complex workB次元官网网址 that will take place at the Colwood facility.

B次元官网网址淭he new home of our provincial archives, research, and collections means British Columbians and visitors will have greater access to more of the provinceB次元官网网址檚 collections and shared history while also providing a new opportunity to watch research happening in real time.B次元官网网址
The campus will be home to the provinceB次元官网网址檚 collections, B.C. Archives, and visiting researchers, collections staff. Collection labs will feature windows that offer the public access to artifacts and museum work and it will also offer onsite learning programs and workshops.
The 15,200 square-metre building is expected to open to the public in 2026.
