Province starts planning new secondary school for Langford

A new secondary school is about to begin the planning stage as the West Shore continues to see exponential growth.

The province will begin developing a business plan for a Langford school, which will detail scope, schedule and budget for the project.

B次元官网网址淭hirteen years ago I was a student at the old Belmont Secondary School on Jacklin Road, and we had to walk out of school to convince them to replace that school with two new high schools.B次元官网网址

Although still in the early planning stages, he said the school should be able to take about 2,000 students, making it the largest school in Langford, and they are looking at a plot of land B次元官网网址渘ear CostcoB次元官网网址 for the building.

They plan to submit the business plan in November, though it could be delayed by an election, and itB次元官网网址檚 expected to be part of the capital plan as part of the 2025 budget.
