A substation fault is being blamed for several power outages in Victoria and Oak Bay Tuesday afternoon. (BC Hydro)

Several swatches of Victoria and Oak Bay were without power for nearly an hour Tuesday.

BC Hydro showed outages to nearly 6,500 customers shortly before 1 p.m. April 9.

The power company listed a substation fault as one cause while others were dubbed B次元官网网址渦nder investigation.B次元官网网址�

Crews restored power to most of the region by 1:45 p.m.
