People are being reminded to lock their vehicle doors, following another rash of thefts in North Saanich recently.

The Sidney North Saanich RCMP report they received calls from people living in North Saanich that their vehicles had been entered, rummaged through and items - including loose change - has been stolen. Another reported a shed has been entered and some of its contents taken as well.

In nearly all the cases, the police stated that the vehicles - and the shed - had been left unlocked.

The thefts happened in the area of Allbay Road and Kittiwake Place in North Saanich overnight of November 8.
