UPDATE: Crash, closure backs up morning commute on Sooke Road

Highway 14 closed in both directions after a vehicle incident between Gillespie and Kangaroo roads

Drivers face backups after a vehicle incident closed Sooke Road early Wednesday morning.

A crash in the 4800-block of Sooke Road closed Highway 14 in both directions between Gillespie and Kangaroo roads, shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 15. 

B次元官网网址淭raffic in both directions has been temporarily shut down as emergency crews do their work. We will provide an update when the road is clear,B次元官网网址� West Shore RCMP said in a social media update.

The road re-opened shortly before 7 a.m.
