One man faces charges after police were called to a Saanich home for a report of someone held against their will Saturday.
Saanich police and the Greater Victoria Emergency Response team were called to the 300-block of Ker Avenue and contained the area on April 6.
One individual was safely removed from the home and flash diversion devices were used to assist in a manB次元官网网址檚 arrest, police said. No physical injuries were reported during the incident.
During a subsequent search, officers discovered several firearms, both real and imitation, as well as ammunition in the home.
Vincenzo Colantonio faces charges including unlawful confinement, pointing a firearm, careless use or storage of a firearm, and possession of a firearm without a licence or registration.
