The 14-home townhouse project is an example of B次元官网网址渕issing middleB次元官网网址� housing, according to Habitat, which builds safe affordable houses that are sold to qualifying partner families and financed with affordable mortgages.

Of the homes, 13 would be family-sized with three bedrooms; the other would be an accessible one-bedroom. The Gordon Head neighbourhood is ideally located close to schools, recreation, transit, and green space.

With support for fast planning approvals for non-profits, Habitat Victoria anticipates final reading of its rezoning application and release of the building permits this year. Construction is expected to start in early 2025 with families moving in by 2027.
