Twenty-four hours after the application came out online, the CFAX Santas Anonymous SocietyB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s Christmas Hamper Program has closed.
In a post on the society's website, the children's charity announced it has reached capacity to support 1,200 local families in Greater Victoria this holiday season.
The application opened on Oct. 7 with a deadline to submit the forms set on Nov. 29.
"All the Christmas-giving agencies released their registration yesterday," said Langford resident Claudia Rezende. "Most of them still have vacancies.
"The need is higher than ever so please only sign up if you need a hand this Christmas," she added.
In 2023, Santas Anonymous also hit capacity within 24 hours of the forms going out.
A member of the Christmas Giving Network of Greater Victoria, CFAX Santas Anonymous encourages families still in need to apply through partner agencies, which are continuing to accept applications.
