A trio from Greater Victoria cyclists is hanging out in the front of the pack after sweeping the podium in the first of of six-stage mountain competition.

VictoriaB次元官网网址檚 Quinton Disera, 25, finished first while Peter Disera, 29, of Langford earned second and Rob Britton, 39, of Victoria took third in the TransRockies Singletrack 6 B次元官网网址� a six-day mountain bike adventure on stages set in Castlegar, Nelson, Kaslo, New Denver and Nakusp. All three compete in the pro/elite men category.

The first stage featured a B次元官网网址渙ne hour climb, wild fast descent, numb hands. Probably on repeat for the next five days too,B次元官网网址� Quinton Disera said on social media after the first stage.

The West Kootenays competition that showcases the best riding in a variety of authentic mountain bike communities continues through July 16.
