Latoria Road in Colwood will be closed to all traffic on Saturday, Aug. 17, to allow for BC Hydro work.
The road will be closed between Wishart Road and Veterans Memorial Parkway, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Detours will be in place.
While work is scheduled to take one day, the City of Colwood has said BC Hydro may extend efforts into Sunday, Aug. 18, depending on when the project is completed.
The weekend work is phase two of BC Hydro's Latoria Road duct bank project, which will expand service capacity.
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times and affected residents will have access to their homes.
