The City of Langford is inviting residents to provide feedback of the draft Urban Forest Management Plan which aims to establish directions and provide guidance for the management of the urban forest over the next 25 years.

On July 24 at 7 p.m., the city will hold a presentation about the plan and there is that will be open until August 25.

The first phase of the plan took place last November, where the city heard community input to inform the vision and strategic direction of the draft. The second phase will seek community feedback on the draft that will shape the cityB次元官网网址檚 plan before it is finalized and presented to council for adoption in the coming months.

According to the release, LangfordB次元官网网址檚 urban forest consists of all trees, forested areas, plants, soils, and ecosystem components located within the city boundary. 

The presentation will be held at city hall at 877 Goldstream Avenue.
