Canada Post has issued a red alert for Vancouver Island and Vancouver due to snow and freezing rain in the forecast for the rest of Wednesday.
The alert is in place until the weather improves. The snow and potential for freezing rain prompted the alert, which suspends delivery for the affected area.

Alerts can be issued for individual communities or entire provinces, depending on the scale of the weather event. Metro Vancouver is also under red alert, and southern B.C. is under a yellow alert.
B次元官网网址淲e encourage customers to clear the ice from their walkways, stairs, and driveways, to ensure safe access to the front door for both their visitors, as well as their mail carriers, when service resumes,B次元官网网址 the notice says.
