The college took advantage of a federal and provincial rebate to purchase the all-purpose, walk-in van. It's expected to be a versatile tool for training across multiple trades, including carpentry, pipe trades, sheet metal and welding. It will also lead the delivery of electric vehicles in automotive apprentice training, specifically in heavy-duty automotive trades, and help deliver education in a more "compact and efficient manner."
