MV Coho sailings are set to resume between Victoria and Port Angeles after a vehicle fire interrupted the ferry service Thursday (May 16).
Five fire crews were called for the vehicle fire at the Port Angeles terminal to battle a blaze aboard the 3 p.m. sailing from Victoria.
Citing extremely low visibility, lots of hazards and exposures, and a potential for a mass casualty incident, crews from Port Angeles Fire Department, Clallam 2 Fire-Rescue, Clallam County Fire Dist. 3 (Sequim), Clallam County Fire Dist. 4 (Joyce), and Olympic Ambulance responded.

The 5:15 p.m. sailing from Port Angeles and the 7:30 out of Victoria that night were cancelled, with all sailings set to resume Friday.
