After the recovery of two stolen vehicles, the West Shore RCMP is continuing its hunt for the suspect or suspects involved.

Stolen on March 4 from outside an industrial retail building in the 2600 block of Millstream Road, a 26-foot trailer was recovered on March 8 in Shawinigan Lake by local RCMP. 

Days later on March 11, the suspect vehicle, seen towing the trailer away in video surveillance footage, was recovered in Duncan by North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP. The recovered vehicle was found to have been stolen from Victoria.

Police say the investigation is ongoing to identify the suspect or suspects involved in the theft of the trailer and the truck.

Drivers who were on Millstream Road on March 4, between the hours of 2:45 to 4 a.m., and have in-car video, have been asked to review their footage in case they have captured the suspect or suspects on video.
