Letter: Emergency crews deserve own plate

In relation to the veterans licence plates, it is a shame that they are all upset by the thought of other services using special recognition plates. WouldnBԪַt it be marvellous if other licence plates could be designed besides the veteran plates?

LETTER: Sick of hearing about homeless

LETTER: Sick of hearing about homeless

I am getting so fed up with hearing about that homeless camp at Regina Park , and especially from BԪַcareer activistBԪַ Chrissy Brett. She and the other one thatBԪַs been preaching about the rights of these people and how the public should cater to them should just be ignored! They thrive on publicity, and the media gives them all they want without hearing much from the BԪַagainstBԪַ side.

Until that connection is completed drivers will continue to turn down Dunford Avenue to Jacklin Road and beyond instead.

LETTER: Modular housing could fit need of homeless

It strikes me that this tent city issue/problem is not going away any time soon. Potential locations for homeless shelters have been suggested at the old Mayfair Lanes site for BԪַmodular housingBԪַ and the old Emily Carr library branch modified for housing. Modular homes are relatively expensive and renovation costs are at all time highs.

After reading the article in the Gazette by Ashley Wadhwani on B.C. HydroBԪַs new crisis fund to help struggling British Columbians pay their hydro bills I find myself in need of commenting.
