Am I the only one noticing the appalling amount of dog mess out there? It always makes me angry when I see it everyday but this snowfall seems to have given more dog owners license to leave their dogB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s mess anywhere it falls.

ItB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s time for Canada to provide its share of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, due for replenishment this year.

Discrimination based on age is one of the most well-tolerated and destructive forms of prejudice in our society. The federal Old Age Security (OAS) program exemplifies how systemic ageism can even sabotage an otherwise progressive social program.

SaanichB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s economy is expected to grow due to expanded educational facilities along with our residentsB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ longevity. Also, Saanich has become a retirement destination.

The clearing of sidewalks of snow and ice has been the poorest I can remember in Central Saanich.

I realize that there are many aspects of Oak BayB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s governance requiring immediate attention (a housing strategy and necessary bylaws, review of the 2014 Official Community Plan, improved public engagement, rework of the terms of reference of our commissions and Advisory Design Panel, asset management, implementing development cost charges, etc.)

In reference to the article BC Transit to install barriers to protect drivers , I am enraged that such installations are necessary.
