LETTER: New sewage plant wonBԪַt clean up after dogs

At long last, our new sewage treatment plant is up and running. Unfortunately, it wonBԪַt address our newest sanitation problem: dogs.

LETTER: Oak Bay should enhance outdoor space

The situation we are currently experiencing has underlined many challenges and opportunities in our community. As we will continue to stay local, the lack of easily accessible outdoor public space, will continue to be a civic challenge.
LETTER: A final goodbye to Donald

LETTER: A final goodbye to Donald

After four long years of almost daily subjugation to illiterate comments, moral bankruptcy, narcissism, misogynistic behaviour, global offences, environmental disregard, self-absorbed tweets, assault to democratic ideals, ungracious, dishonourable, undignified behaviour and profound lack of role modelling for our youth, I am finally able to respond, BԪַDonald who ?BԪַ
LETTER: Developments consume Langford neighbourhoods

LETTER: Developments consume Langford neighbourhoods

LangfordBԪַs finally made the decision to make audio of regular council meeting available to the public. But not livestreaming. Budget restraints? I donBԪַt think so. There has been so much zoning and building done in this city, it stands to reason they have a huge budget, so why wait? Because they donBԪַt want us to know and see what is going on behind closed doors. They ignore everything the public puts forward at the meetings, anyway. The zoning and development get passed. Just give a listen.

LETTER: Langford council must be more open

Why is Langford council so secretive? There is an old adage in the justice system that says: BԪַJustice must not only be done, it must be seen to be done.BԪַ

LETTER: Chickens bring rats to neighbourhood

LETTER: Chickens bring rats to neighbourhood

I wish to disagree with the advocate in your article BԪַAdvocate makes case for backyard chickens in SidneyBԪַ on two matters. First, I can affirm that chickens do attract rats and make noise. My neighbours have chickens and are fastidious about keeping their coop clean.
