Vancouver IslandB次元官网网址檚 Lauren Spencer-Smith will appear once again at CanadaB次元官网网址檚 biggest night of music.
The singer has received three Juno award nominations, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences announced on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
The 20-year-oldB次元官网网址檚 debut album, Mirror, which was released in July, was nominated for Album of the Year and Pop Album of the Year. The singer-songwriter herself was nominated for Artist of the Year award again, this year going up against the likes of heavy hitters Shania Twain, Daniel Caesar, Charlotte Cardin and Tate McRae.
Spencer-Smith was also nominated last year for the highly coveted award, and was seen as a performer at the Junos in 2022. The pop singer caught the publicB次元官网网址檚 eye back in 2020 when she reached the top 20 of American Idol.
Christine Jensen, who is from Nanaimo but lives in Montreal, also received a Juno nod for Jazz Album of the Year, for Day Moon.
Pop icon and Victoria-born Nelly Furtado will perform and work as host during this yearB次元官网网址檚 awards show, which will be held in Halifax and broadcast live on CBC on March 24.
