StellyB次元官网网址檚 Secondary students embark on their debut musical whodunit for this yearB次元官网网址檚 senior show. StellyB次元官网网址檚 Senior Musical Theatre presents Curtains for five performances starting Jan. 16.

The show-within-a-show mystery, authored by Rupert Holmes, lyrics by Fred Ebb and music by John Kander, was selected by teachers Alicia Bartlett and Norbert Ziegler in part for its large cast.

In the bright, promising year of 1959, a new musical opens at BostonB次元官网网址檚 Colonial Theatre to poor reviews. The hilariously imperfect show is the least of the companyB次元官网网址檚 worries.

B次元官网网址淭he star of the show dies and a detective comes to try and figure out what happened,B次元官网网址� said Bartlett, the musical theatre, dance and drama teacher that also directs and created choreography for the show.

Curtains includes a cast of Grade 11 and 12 students, an orchestra of Grade 10 to 12 students and stagecraft by students in Grades 9 through 12.

Performances are Jan. 16, 17 and 18 at 7 p.m. with a Jan. 18 matinee at 1 p.m. at StellyB次元官网网址檚 Secondary, 1627 StellyB次元官网网址檚 Cross Rd.
