Like Franklin, who was as classic as they come, Asberry was born in Detroit. She honed her musical talents in pubs, nightclubs and by backing such groups as the Righteous Brothers, Doobie Brothers and Bad Company.

However, it was her Aretha Franklin persona that propelled Asberry. She first dazzled crowds all over the U.S. in the show BEEHIVE B次元官网网址� a tribute show featuring the music of The Supremes, Amy Winehouse and other famous femmes who rocked that hairstyle. BEEHIVE brought her to Las Vegas, where later, she continued performing as Franklin in the world-renowned Legends in Concert series. She also wowed the crowds in the series doing tributes of superstars Tina Turner and Whitney Houston.
