Six local authors nominated for B.C. Book Prizes

Six Victoria-area authors are nominated for B.C. Prizes, which will be awarded April 21. Jack Hodgins, Sylvia Olsen, Dan Savard, Eve Joseph, Polly Horvath, and Robert Budd are nominated in fiction, non-fiction, poetry,  childrenB次元官网网址檚 literature and booksellersB次元官网网址� choice categories, respectively.

Prize winners will be announced at the Lieutenant GovernorB次元官网网址檚 gala to be held at the  Kay Meek Centre in West Vancouver.

The Honourable Steven L. Point, Lieutenant Governor will be in attendance and will also present an award of excellence to a writer who will be announced that evening.
