Jon Tupper, Director of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria announced that Janyce Ronson is the new Director of Advancement at the gallery.

Ronson has been a member of the galleryB次元官网网址檚 senior management team since 2007 as the manager of gallery services.  RonsonB次元官网网址檚 new role will see her take responsibility for the Advancement Department which includes the AGGVB次元官网网址檚 annual fundraising and community outreach initiatives.

B次元官网网址淛anyce has a deep understanding of the gallery, our donors and the community,B次元官网网址� said Tupper, B次元官网网址淪he and her team will be working to build on and achieve new heights of success for the AGGV in the years ahead.B次元官网网址�

Ronson has an extensive background in working with non-profit and government organizations in strategic planning and development in both Alberta and Ontario. Prior to joining the gallery she had a successful career in retail management in Victoria.

Ronson holds an M.Sc. from the University of Guelph in resources development and planning and a bachelor of environmental science from the University of Waterloo in urban and regional Planning.

She began her new role at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria on Aug. 20.
