Summer is here, and that means so is Music in the Park.

LangfordB次元官网网址檚 annual two-month music festival returns July 3 to VeteranB次元官网网址檚 Memorial Park, filling Sunday afternoons with song. After a dozen years, organizer Peter Willing said the shows are still going strong and continue to be a win-win for everyone in the community.

Nine different bands will play in the park, starting with Matheson. Among the other bands on tap are Rukus, the Groove Diggers, Maureen Washington Quartet and the Ready Willing Band. With the waterpark there, Willing said there are no excuses for the public not to come out and enjoy the family-friendly event.

The Royal Canadian LegionB次元官网网址檚 Prince Edward Branch 91 in Langford will have volunteers on hand selling hot dogs, snacks and drinks, raising money for the variety of community programs they support across the West Shore. All performances happen at Veterans Memorial Park, at the corner of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Goldstream Avenue. They run from 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays from July 3 to Aug. 28.
