The next Highlands Music Coffee House is set for May 13, with headlining performer Los Gringos Locos.
The acoustic guitar duo consisting of Al Sabourin and Mike Sampson are well known in Greater Victoria, having shared their music with audiences since 2000.
A regular feature at events such as the Victoria International Jazz Festival, Latin Caribbean Festival, and Esquimalt Lantern Festival, their performances are described as being like a conversation between two guitars.
Opening for the duo is three-piece country-folk band Ryton Rigg, consisting of Dave Preston, Kev Kotorynski and Lesley Preston. The band is known for their covers of country, folk, and blues singer-songwriters, with the odd dance tune thrown in to keep the energy alive.
Admission is by donation as always, and doors open at the Caleb Pike House at 6:30 p.m., with music starting at 7.
