HBOB次元官网网址檚 post-apocalyptic drama The Last of Us is reportedly filming in Mission.

Reports surfaced on Tuesday (March 5) that the production is filming scenes for the showB次元官网网址檚 second season at a Mission property.

A production has been underway in Mission for the past few days at a secretive set where a crane is visible from a distance. The City of Mission couldnB次元官网网址檛 share details about the production.

The Last of Us notched 24 nominations at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey were nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress respectively.

Season one of the show was filmed in various locations around Alberta, but HBO announced in April that its second season would feature Vancouver-area sites.

City of Mission communications manager Taryn Hubbard says more productions have chosen the area in the past year, with an uptick after labour disputes were resolved in the industry.
