The West Shore Lions Club is hosting good times and live music at their upcoming fundraisers.

Local bands Younger Than Yesterday and Kooler will take to the stage at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #91 Saturday to raise money for community projects.

The Lions provide bursaries for students and support the Goldstream Food Bank, as well as local youth and seniors organizations and other community projects, said Kurt Gowitt, a director for the group.

Tickets are $18 in advance or $25 at the door and are available at the Legion, 761 Station Ave. or by phoning 250-478-8365. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The Decades of Rock Show, another West Shore Lions fundraiser at the Langford Legion on May 21, will feature Younger Than Yesterday, Free Ride and Rock Of Ages.
