In a true show of support and community spirit, DarcyB次元官网网址檚 Pub is hosting a benefit concert Wednesday night (April 27) for the family of RCMP Const. Sarah Beckett.

Headliner Lance Lapointe, recent winner of the Male Artist of the Year award at the Vancouver Island Music Awards, will be joined on the bill by local recording artists Adam Barter, Christian Down and Theresa Pasaluko.

General manager Justin Sparks said the pub has had a good relationship with the West Shore RCMP since it opened for business a couple of years ago in the former location of the Station House Pub on Goldstream Avenue.

Helping out the family of one of their members, who died tragically in a crash April 5, just seemed like a good fit for the venue, he added.

B次元官网网址淚t was an opportunity to rally some more funds for the family and get the community involved,B次元官网网址 Sparks said.

B次元官网网址淲e just wanted to do something to support them (the RCMP) as well. We know itB次元官网网址檚 a huge loss.B次元官网网址

The evening will also include a silent auction and raffle, with all proceeds from those plus ticket sales and donations going to a trust fund held for the Sarah Beckett Family at Coast Capital Savings.

Anyone wishing to donate silent auction items is asked to send an email to westshore@darcyspub.ca using the subject line B次元官网网址淚n Trust.B次元官网网址
