Reynolds was one of 88 people to be appointed to the Order of Canada this week alongside scientists, advocates and artists, all deemed to have made extraordinary contributions to the nation.

Gov.-Gen. Mary SimonB次元官网网址檚 office praised him for his philanthropy, including with Water First Education, Covenant House Vancouver and the Sick Kids Foundation.

Other appointees include curler Kevin Martin, LGBTQ+ advocate Diane Pitre, author Maureen Jennings and executive Randy Lennox, who led companies including Universal Music Canada and Bell Media.

Last year Reynolds received his home provinceB次元官网网址檚 top honour when he was named to the Order of British Columbia.
