More sunshine is in the forecast this weekend and thereB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s plenty to do around the West Shore.

Friday, May 26

The Victoria Shamrocks are against the Burnaby Lakers in a rematch from last yearB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s playoffs. The B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·˜Rocks took their opener last week in a nailbiter. Opening faceoff is set for 7:00 p.m. at The Q Centre.

Saturday, May 27

²Ñ±ð³Ù³¦³ó´Ç²õ¾±²ÔB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s opens at 9 a.m. and shoppers are encouraged to get there early in order to have a shot at the best stuff. Proceeds support the Metchosin Community Association and the sale continues on Sunday.

Meanwhile, sports fans will descend upon Westhills Stadium for the tournament, featuring Canada, New Zealand, Australia and a host of other countries. Medal round matches will take place on Sunday.

Sunday May 28

Residents are encouraged to stop by the South Vancouver Island Rangers clubhouse on Luxton Road between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for courtesy of the Rangers. Games for kids of all ages.
