Indigenous Police Units joined West Shore community RCMP as they helped to feed hungry kids.
The breakfast program was in danger of being temporarily shut down due to a scheduling conflict and RCMP decided to help, according to Varley.
A non-profit youth organization, with the help of a parent volunteer, runs the breakfast program every school day from 8 to 9 a.m.
B次元官网网址淲est Shore RCMP School Liaison officers heard about this during a regular school visit and decided to step forward and keep the program running without any gaps,B次元官网网址 Varley said.
The breakfast program has been in operation for almost a decade and is funded by the Student Affordability Fund through the Ministry of Education and Child Care.
