Now through May 5, proceeds from Smile Cookies sold at 21 participating Tim Hortons in the Capital Regional District support Jeneece Place.
B次元官网网址淭he ChildrenB次元官网网址檚 Health Foundation of Vancouver Island works to eliminate barriers to accessing healthcare for island kids,B次元官网网址� Engelhardt said. B次元官网网址淲e really work hard to keep families close when their children are in need of medical care.B次元官网网址�
One way they do that is through home-away-from-home programs, such as Jeneece Place adjacent to Victoria General Hospital in View Royal and Qwalayu House in Campbell River.
B次元官网网址淭hese are comfortable and welcoming accommodations for families to stay so they can be close to their kids while theyB次元官网网址檙e seeking healthcare in those communities. We also support families through our bare essentials program which helps to eliminate some of these stress related to travel and the cost of expensive medical equipment,B次元官网网址� Engelhardt said.

Since 2012, Jeneece Place has provided a home away from home for more than 3,000 Island families B次元官网网址� including one that stayed for 161 nights.
This is the 11th year the cookie campaign has supported the local health foundation, raising more than $440,885 over the past decade B次元官网网址� equating to more than 2,300 night stays at Jeneece Place.
