Award-winning science journalist and radio host Bob McDonald will launch the Canadian Club of VictoriaB次元官网网址檚 2012-13 speaker series with a talk on Monday (Sept. 10).
McDonald will discuss his view of science after his 35 years as a journalist in Science as IB次元官网网址檝e Seen It. He is best known for his work on CBCB次元官网网址檚 The National where he explains phenomena such as earthquakes, tsunamis and space missions.
The Monday luncheon will be held at Coast Victoria Harbourside Hotel, 146 Kingston St., beginning at 11:45 a.m. Tickets are $30 and available by calling 250-370-1837.
