Historic Uplands is on deck for the next Community Association of Oak Bay, free Oak Bay Talks event.

, author of Imagining Uplands, illustrates the beauty and historical significance of John OlmstedB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s 1908 plan for Uplands and its later development.

Martin Segger and David Anderson, a resident of Uplands, discuss National Historic Site designation and its commemorative meaning.

by McCannB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s award-winning hardcover book released late last year. Published by Brighton Press and designed by Lara Minja, the book takes readers from the conception to the planning to the creation of the unique residential park.

The community conversation, Historic Uplands: Oak BayB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s residential park gem, a national treasure, is Monday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club, 3475 Ripon Rd.
