Three Colwood officers arrive at the home having received complaints of noise and obscene language, and estimate that more than 150 people are in attendance at the residential property, including many minors. Some of the partygoers are quite intoxicated. The homeowner promises to shut the party down, but two hours later the party is ongoing.

After officers arrive again, partygoers become unruly, throwing bottles on the street near the police and striking one vehicle twice. The homeowner eventually agrees to allow police to enter his home and force people to leave.

Polly, a Panama Amazon parrot worth $1,500, tests her wings when her owner of four years takes her out for some sun. Owners Julian and Ann Szostakiwskyj, say the bird is part of the family and wonB次元官网网址檛 give up on finding her again. They put reports out to the media, go door to door checking with neighbours and keep a sunrise-to-sunset vigil.

After four days the couple receive a call about the bird from a man living near Woolco on Douglas Street. It seems Polly had flown to town from their home on Atkins Road and upon seeing her owners, flies down and begins nuzzling them.
