Whistle Buoy Brewing Company kicks off its inaugural event series, Big Patio Days, on Saturday (June 22) in Market Square.

The celebration coincides with the brewery's fifth birthday, marking the start of a summer filled with music, food and fun.

For six themed days spread throughout the summer, Whistle Buoy is extending its patio to accommodate 200 more patrons, bringing the total capacity to 293. Attendees can enjoy live music, food vendors, games, fresh beer releases and all-day beer gardens on a first-come, first-served basis with a $5 cover charge to help cover artist fees.

On June 22, Whistle Buoy celebrates its birthday featuring Juice and Acres of Lions. On July 6, the theme is Victoria Stampede featuring Bo&Robbie and Whiskey Business. July 27, a Garden Party will feature Juice, Blush, and Brothers. Aug. 10 is Surf Rock Beach Day featuring Oily James and Halibut Cowboys. On Aug. 24, Miguelito Vlades will perform at the Cuban Sunshine event.

The grand finale is Oktoberfest on Sept. 21, featuring the Victoria Edelweiss Dancers.

For each event, the patio opens at noon, with a DJ starting at 1 p.m. and bands beginning at 7 p.m. Re-entry is permitted with a stamp.

Food options include Good Time Glizzy, a new hot dog cart on the Whistle Buoy patio, along with vendors like Dumpling Drop, The Courtney Room, and Cold Comfort Ice Cream. Additional vendors will be announced closer to each event. Outside food is also allowed.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with well-behaved owners, the press release reads. Families are also permitted.
