The Langford Legion, Prince Edward Branch #91, got a facelift this week.
About a dozen members of the Royal Canadian Navy teamed up to remove, paint and reinstall ceiling tiles around the LegionB次元官网网址檚 games room and bar.
The whole process took about three days, said Leading Seaman Colleen Chartrand.
B次元官网网址淚tB次元官网网址檚 nice to come out and throw some time in,B次元官网网址 she said, noting that itB次元官网网址檚 their way of giving back.
Added Leading Seaman Adam McLeod: B次元官网网址淭he Legion does a lot for veterans and members of the community itself.

McLeod voiced hope that the fresh coat of paint will make the space more inviting and help bring new people in.
The Sherwin-Williams Paint store on Goldstream Avenue in Langford also helped with the effort by donating 15 gallons of paint for the project.
Legion branch president Norm Scott said random acts of generosity such as this go a long way in helping the organization save money, allowing it to use funds for more important community projects.
