Royal Roads University Canada Research Chair, Ann Dale won the Canada Council for the Arts Molson Prize

Royal Roads University Canada Research Chair, Ann Dale won the Canada Council for the Arts Molson Prize for the Social Sciences. Dale will receive the award June 5 at the upcoming Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences in Victoria.

Dale plans to use the funds to write a follow up to her award-winning book, At the Edge.

Two Canada Council Molson Prizes, worth $50,000 each, are awarded each year. The arts award went to Ojibway author Richard Wagamese.

The selection committee described her as B次元官网网址渙ne of CanadaB次元官网网址檚 foremost academics in sustainable community development, an activist within the environmental movement, and an innovator in environmental education and civic engagement.B次元官网网址
