The third annual 肠辞苍迟别蝉迟B次元官网网址檚 first round received a record number of submissions to Black Press newspapers all over the province. Entrants came from more than 80 communities, including , , , Vancouver, , Chilliwak, Surrey, , , Langley, Lumby, Maple Ridge, Nanaimo, , Prince George, , , , and .
Expert judges selected more than who faced off against each other, taking photos in a one-day challenge at the this August.

There are also three honorable mentions this year: Harold Schock, who entered through the , for best air photo and best static photo; and Paul Kendall for best crowd photo.
All category winners are invited to on Oct. 15, where the Next Generation Amateur Photographer of the Year winner will be announced. The winner will be featured on Black Press websites across the province.
