Bargain hunters have much to see, but even those who arenB次元官网网址檛 interested in buying can help the cause by cleaning out their homes and donating items to the garage sale. MCA president Bob Burgis said the event, which also includes a silent auction, provides great deals and opportunities for everyone, including those benefiting from the Metchosin Community HouseB次元官网网址檚 programming.

The garage sale, one of the largest in Greater Victoria, brought in approximately $16,000 in 2014 and $18,000 last year. The entire operating budget of the house is covered with funds raised at the garage sale and the Metchosin Community House Services Auction, held last month.

Donated garage sale items can be dropped off at the Metchosin Community House, 4430 Happy Valley Rd., from May 21 to 27 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Mighty Garage Sale comes to life Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
